Since Ross will be making the trip over the pond to work with his band on some new material for what will become the band's second album, They thought why not play a couple of shows while they're all together?

It is less than a day before the Brooklyn Thunder Fest commences at Europa in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This landmark event features New Wave of British Heavy Metal icons Raven, Earache recording artist White Wizzard, Brooklyn’s own Zandelle and Central New York favorite Titanium Black.
The headliner: Ex-Manowar guitarist Ross The Boss and his band, who will be making their U.S. live debut. In celebration of this landmark event, The Ross The Boss Band will be performing songs from Manowar’s first six albums as well as its 2008 debut “New Metal Leader.”
There are very few tickets left for this all-ages show, so act fast.
“It’s certain to be an emotional night for The Ross The Boss Band,” confesses the guitarist. “Our first show in the U.S. of A! What a journey it’s been. In three years, we have gone from playing a one-off ‘greatest hits’ show to recording our debut and then touring the world. To hoist the banner for heavy metal is the greatest honor for us and it is one we will not take it lightly.”
Ross The Boss’s "New Metal Leader" was released in January 2009 via Candlelight/AFM Records. The band will begin record its second effort in early 2010.
Ross The Boss will be signing your records at a meet and greet at Duff's 168 Marcy Ave, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York on Friday August 21st.
Bring along all your records, posters, cds or whatever else you've got from Ross' era in Manowar, The Dictators, or any of his bands! He'll be signing things and selling copies of his latest album "New Metal Leader" from 10pm - 12am.
"Former MANOWAR guitarist Ross "The Boss" Friedman will be presented with a commemorative plaque for his 35-year career in music by Nikos Athineos, a rock DJ and presenter on the "Stargazer" metal radio show, one of the longest-running metal radio programs in the world. The award presentation will be held on stage at the Notos Club in Chania, Crete on Friday, May 8 at the conclusion of Ross’ headlining performance at the venue."

RTB's bass player Carsten Kettering did an interview with Metalzone.gr not long ago in which he discusses the album "New Metal Leader" and how the band which began as a cover band for a one-time event turned into so much more than that.

Ross The Boss will be kicking off the new year by celebrating his birthday (January 3rd) in France, where he will play The Paris France Metal Festival III with his French band from the late 70's; Shakin' Street.

The New Metal Leader Tour has begun! Last Thursday the band played the first warm-up show in support of the new album.
Ross said, "Basically we kicked ass!!! To me it was the climax of a long wait in my life. Finally with the right band, the right songs, the right label, the right time! Because it's right now!"
"The whole night was great. We got a very great feedback and the club was packed full of Metalheads. They screamed every song with us, they knew the words already and we had a big party with all of them."
"Because of my band Patrick, Matze and Carsten we played that show in their hometown Kaiserslautern. We're seeing all of our old friends and we are making many new ones."
